On the Horizon: Looking Up to the Future

When I was a kid, I remember going to the movies to see Tom Hanks star in Apollo 13. I loved the rumble of the rocket as it took off into space and how everything floated around after the astronauts left the point of gravity. It all seemed fun and exciting, but I never really understood what all it took to get those three men to the moon, or at least around the moon, and back.

In Stillwater, Oklahoma, most people come for the school and Cowboy football. But most do not even know about the aerospace success that happens just off Highway 51.
